Bottles! Craft Stamper ..... Take It, Make It Challenge

Happy Friday!

It's the first Friday of the month, so ...... that means the latest issue of Craft Stamper magazine is on newsagents shelves - yeah!! (also available from all good craft stores)

It also means there's a brand new Take It, Make It Challenge too.

There were so many fabulous entries last month, it was nice to see you all enjoyed  Monoprinting with an Acrylic Block.  It was really difficult to choose a winner, but in the end the honour went to ....

Congratulations!  Hermine ..... a worthy winner!

We have another fun theme for you this month ..... we'd like to see you create something using 'Bottles'
It can be anything from an altered bottle to a bottle label or tag.  Stamp images of bottles to make cards, or create your own bottle from acetate.  Check out this months magazine for some inspiration ......  You can even use this month's free stamp to create your masterpiece ....... the choice is up to you.

I decided on a wine bottle tag ........ I'm quite partial to the odd glass of a nice Italian red!

I cut an oversized tag shape from a piece of white cardstock, then using a circle mask I inked in the sun using Distress Inks ........ Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold with a touch of Worn Lipstick

I added a touch of blue around the edges - Stormy Sky, and finished a little bit of Tea Dye towards the bottom

I then spritzed some clean water into the palm of my hand and 'flicked' it over the inked tag.  I let the water sit for a couple of seconds then mopped up the excess using kitchen roll, to give a mottled effect to the background.

The bottle stamp is by IndigoBlu,  from their  B.F.F. set (one of my favourites)  I stamped the image using Red Geranium Archival ink, then gave the wine bottle and the glass a coating of Glossy Accents

To finish off I tied some natural twine around the bottom of the tag and attached a dinky little cork  .....
sooo cute!

I mat the whole thing onto a piece of black cardstock and added some natural ribbon so that it can be hung around the neck of that nice bottle of red  ...... Cheers!

Check out all the fabulous inspiration projects from the rest of the DT on todays blog post, and then get stamping ...... have fun and Good luck!

Thanks for looking .......
Cheerio until next time

I love how your tag really sets the mood for sitting down and enjoying a bottle of red with friends! The natural elements go so well with it too.
