Have you had a good Saturday? Did you have a flutter on the Grand National ...... more importantly, did you win?
I can't win an argument never mind a horse race ....... so I gave it a miss this year. Watched the race on the telly though, from behind a cushion most of the time ...... I don't like seeing the horses fall!
I've just got time for a quick post before I have to get the little one ready for bed .... Grandma duties calling again. He's watching football with Grandad at the moment so all's quiet on the western front (apart from when Chelsea score of course!)
I need to get this weeks entry in for the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge ........ I'm doing well with this one, haven't missed a week yet.
It's Challenge #102 and the theme is ......
Will this do? .........
I've gone for the CAS look (a bit of a favourite style at the moment). Traditional Christmas colours, simple layout, straightforward stamping.
The stamp is from an IndigoBlu set called Retro Christmas, a nice collection of festive images. I've just stamped it using a green Archival ink, cut it out with a Nestabilities Circle die and mat it onto some red cardstock.
A festive satin bow finishes it of nicely.
I cut a piece of white cardstock slightly small than 7x5inches, and stamped my festive words in the bottom corner (stamp is from Clarity by the way) using a red Archival ink. I then attached the mistletoe image using foam pads and job done!!!
Of course I had to do the inside too .......
Oh well, the game's over ...... Chelsea won 3-0 so my boys are back at the top of the Premiership - result!!
Time to get someone in his PJ's I think.
Thanks for popping by. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
Cheerio until next time.
