White on White for Merry Monday

Happy Tuesday!

And happy 1st of July  too ..... pinch and a punch and all that!

Not long to go now ..... only one more sleep then we're off!  That's if I ever get around to doing any more packing.  As it stands I've got sun cream in my suitcase, PJ's, underwear and shoes!  Don't panic .... there's all day tomorrow, we don't actually leave for the airport until  4pm(ish)

Before I head off for the sun, I've got this week's Christmas card for the Merry Monday Challenge
It's another colour challenge ..... one of my favourites too.   This week we have to use White-on-White

Here's what I came up with ...... my blog friend Darnell will be so proud, I'm using more NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff!)

It's the first outing for the little Precious Mittens die from Memory Box (sooo cute!), and .... I must admit I don't recall ever using the Cuttlebug Embossing folder before either (oh dear!).

Anyway what can I say ...... mittens cut from white cardstock, twice.  The cuffs have been cut from one set, glittered and layered, then the mittens have been attached, using foam pads, onto a piece of white cardstock which has been embossed using the Cuttlebug Snowflakes 2 folder.  I do love embossing white cardstock, it always looks so crisp!

I stamped my greeting onto the bottom of a larger piece of white card, using IndigoBlu Flitter Glu  and then added Sheffield Steel Mega Flakes over the top

Everything was then attached to the front of a 7x5 cardblank, and that's my first Christmas card of July done!
There won't be a Christmas card next week ...... I'll be in Vegas!! (playing cards probably .....not making them!)  But don't worry, I will catch up when I get home.

Ok ..... next job on the list for today, finish the ironing (oh joy!)  Once that's done though,  it's time for coffee and a good old chat with a friend and enjoy some of this sunshine we're having.
Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio until next time
