Rustic charm for Merry Monday .....

Happy weekend!

Another Christmas card for you today ...... it's all I seem to be doing at the moment! Well .... it is only 46 days to the big day ..... it'll be here before we know it!

This one is for the Merry Monday Challenge ........ Rustic Christmas!

Not sure if I've really captured this one ...... I've used the cream, the tan (Kraft) and the brown, but I've also added in a little touch of red.  I think it works ....  I just hope it still qualifies for the challenge

I've used Tea Dye Distress ink to add colour to my little winter scene, along with masks for the moon and the hills.

The cute little robin is from my NBUS (Never Before Used Stuff!) collection ...... which is something I can't say about those gorgeous trees.  Those stamps have been well and truly inked ..... you're probably fed up of seeing them on this years cards!

This little guy however, has had his first inking .... and it won't be his last!   He's a Penny Black Cling stamp called robin's wish, stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento, with a touch of Lady Bug red on his tummy.

I added a festive sentiment and a touch of fine glitter to finish, and of course added a little something to the inside,

I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing day today ..... a spot of shopping maybe and a trip to the local wine cellar to pick up a bottle or two of something nice, to go with dinner tonight.

Thanks for popping by ..... have a lovely weekend.

Cheerio until next time

Linda
