Time for a Colour challenge .....

Happy Wednesday (what's left of it!),

This week is flying by .... again!!  Don't know what I've been doing mind, but hey ho the weekend is nearly here.

Over at Less is More it's the first challenge of the month so that means we have a Colour challenge ..... we have to use ......

I love berry colours .... all those plum shades and deep reds with just a hint of pink in there ..... gorgeous!

Here's this week's entry from me ......

The colours are a little bit darker in real life but I couldn't quite capture this on camera ..... this is as good as it gets!!

I stamped my image onto a piece of white card using Versamark ink, and then embossed it with a fine detail, white embossing powder.

I then masked off a panel down the edges using low tack tape, and started to blend Distress inks over the top of my embossed image ....... Dusty Concord, Fired Brick, Festive Berries and just a touch of Aged Mahogany.

Once I was happy with the colours I polished off any excess ink left on the embossed image .... and voila! ...... there was my pretty flower spray.
Before I removed the masking tape, I spritzed a little water over the ink, let it sit for a few seconds then mopped up the excess using a piece of paper towel ....... I love this splattered effect.

Off came the masking tape, and I finished the card with a nice sentiment.

This months Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge is all about Masking so I'm also linking this up over there too.

Well that's another job crossed off the list .... plenty more to get done tomorrow!

Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio until next time

Linda
