Make a Wish .....

Happy Sunday folks .....

We're still partying away for the STAMPlorations 3rd Birthday Blog Hop/ Linky Party .... have you joined in the celebrations yet?

Don't worry there's still time ....... use the mood board below to inspire you to create a birthday/party themed project and link it up on the STAMPlorations Blog.

And don't forget ....... if you visit and leave a comment on each of the DT's blog posts you'll be in with a chance of winning one of the fabulous prizes on offer (you can find all the details on the STAMPlorations Blog)

OK .... lets keep this party going shall we ....... I've got another inspiration piece for you today using the brand new STAMPlorations Kathryn's BIG Wishes stamp set.

This is a fab set to have in your collection ..... suitable for any age, male or female, and not just for birthdays either.  What about using the candle for Christmas cards!
And guess what ..... there's matching dies too.  Yes that's right ...... STAMPlorations are now making their own matching dies to some of their stamp sets! (shhhh ..... don't tell anyone but they'll be launching VERY soon!!  Keep an eye on the STAMPlorations blog that's all I'm saying!)

Anyway ..... back to my card.  I've kept things very clean and simple here and all pretty in feminine pink!

I've simply stamped and embossed the large candle from the set, across the bottom of a piece of white cardstock, using my new favourite embossing powder .... Ranger's Liquid Platinum ....I love it!!!

The candles have then been painted with the pretty Vintage Rose colour from the Prima Alchemy Acrylic Paints ....... just look at the shimmer and shine ...... and that's just one coat!

I added a touch of sparkle to the flames ......

A greeting on the front ...... (there's that gorgeous embossing powder again!)

And a little something on the inside ......

All the stamps used are from the same set ..... told you it was a good set to have!

Don't forget there's still time to join in the fun, and if you leave a comment here and on the rest of the DT blogs then you'll be in with a chance of winning one of the fab birthday prizes ..... see the STAMPlorations Blog for full details.

Happy stamping!  and Happy 3rd Birthday STAMPlorations!!!!

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio until next time
