Hello again .....
I said it's been a busy week. ....... and today is no exception.
The STAMPlorations girls have been getting ready for a fun, maybe just a little festive, Blog event.
Welcome to the first Holiday TAGplorations Blog Hop ..... Ho! Ho! Ho!!!
Five days of tag making fun gets underway today and you can join in the fun too.
Hop along through the all blogs, leave comments on the way for the chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Create your own holiday/festive tags, link them to the TAGplorations Linky Party and you could be a winner .... there's fabulous dies and gift certificates up for grabs, and maybe just a few surprises along the way too.
The STAMPlorations girls have been busy creating tags for the event .... here's a little festive idea from me ......
I'm loving white ink on Kraft card at the moment, and it makes the perfect wintry backdrop for this festive reindeer. This little guy is one of the images from the STAMPlorations Christmas Reindeer stamp set ..... so cute! You can get matching CUTplorations dies too which is great if you don't like fussy cutting.
I cut my tag from a piece of Kraft card, using the CUTplorations Luggage Tag Dies. Using a piece of copier paper I made myself a mask to create the hills and used a white ink sponged along the edge to build up my winter scene
With the mask in place I stamped a few fir trees in the background to add a bit more detail and finished off with some sparkly glitter and a few dots with a white gel pen, to give the look of falling snow.
I stamped the reindeer, again onto Kraft card and added a touch of colour using Distress Ink.
A sprinkling of glitter and a shiny red nose gives him a little festive sparkle. And to finish off the tag I added one of the sentiments from the same stamp set to the top .....
Fancy joining in the fun?
There's going to be 5 days of fabulous inspiration posts from Shery and the Design Team ..... I'll be back for two of those days.
Don't forget to visit the blogs and leave comments to be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes. Or, create your own holiday tags ...... they can be any holiday, not just Christmas, and link them up to the party using the Linky on the launch post.
You can leave comments and link to the Blog Hop from today the 4th, right up until November 25th so you've lots of time to join in.
Winners will be announced on December 9th in the STAMPlorations November Challenges & Hop Winners post.
Phew! ..... in case I've missed anything check out the Holiday TAGplorations Blog Hop post for all the details. Happy stamping!
Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of your day.
Mine's not over yet ..... I'll be back with you all again later
Cheerio until then ......
