On the third day of December .......

Well ..... it's up!!  The tree that is.  It didn't take long either once I'd sorted out the new lights, about four and a half hours last night....... not bad going at all, for me.

The picture's not brilliant .... still haven't mastered taking photos in the dark but you get the idea.  Lots of baubles, twinkling lights etc., etc.  Now there's just the one in the hall to do.

I've got another Christmas card to share today - 3 of them actually!!  They're a variation of one I did a few days ago, for a blog challenge.  You can find the original one here, and these are today's version ......

I just love these little robins from the Penny Black clear set of stamps - Winter Wonderland, and I think they perch on the Hero Arts 'Miracle of the Holidays' sentiments perfectly ........

I've coloured the little guys using a mix of Copic Markers and Distress Inks, and of course each one of them has had a nice dusting of fine crystal glitter  .......

Have you spotted the difference on one of them ....... a little glitter snowflake found it's way onto the middle one ........ ooops!

Bet you can all guess why ....... oh yes, we've all done it (not just once or twice either!!).  That dreaded ink mark, you know the one, you've no idea how it got there but BANG! there it is just as you're finishing off.  It's usually a gem or a butterfly that covers it up but I went for a snowflake this time ...... well it is nearly Christmas after all.

I'm going to enter these into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, hope they still qualify.  I'm not sure if I'm breaking the rules here, because of the Hero sentiment.  We'll see - fingers crossed.
The current theme is .........
Sparklers

They're definitely doing a bit of that!

Thanks for popping by this evening. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - what's left of it.

Cheerio for now
