Hello again .......
Guess what ..... I made it! I'm up to date with my tags ..... whoo hoo!!!
Here's tag number 11 for the 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends event. What's Christmas without a bunch of mistletoe ..... mwah!
CAS ..... the bunch of mistletoe (Clearly Besotted Merry Kissmas) has been stamped twice directly onto the tag, and once again on a separate piece of card ....... this one has been embossed with a clear powder and then fussy cut.
I attached the mistletoe onto the tag using foam pads and added a cute little bow to the top. The berries are dots of Liquid Pearl covered in fine crystal glitter for a touch of sparkle.
Then sentiment has been embossed in gold ....... another one from the Tin of Tags set from Stampin Up!
And to finish off I sprinkled on a little chunky white embossing powder
All done!
Time for a coffee I think ....... and look what my lovely postie brought this morning. Guess what I'll be playing with over the weekend!
I'll be back again later for Day 12 ....... with an extra special tag .... see you then!
Cheerio until next time

Getting an early start .......
Happy Friday ......
A nice early post to get the weekend started ...... lots to do today.
I'm playing catch up with this year's 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends event ......
It's Tag number 10 this morning ...... I'm nearly there
This cute little tag was made using leftover bits ..... I haven't had time to clear my desk this week so there's stuff everywhere!
The tag is one I rescued from earlier in the week ..... things didn't go according to plan, I didn't like the bottom of it but I didn't want to throw the whole thing away, so I chopped it down ....... I knew the top would come in handy
The flower is made using the smaller layers from the Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia die. I've been cutting a whole bunch of these for a workshop coming up soon ...... I need more of the larger ones than the small so they're piling up on my desk. By the time I've finished that project I'll never want to see a poinsettia again ..... but that.s another story!
They've been cut from smooth watercolour card, inked around the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink, and then I spritzed them with Perfect Pearls and left them to dry. I love how the ink has blended over the card and mixed with the Perfect Pearls ..... looks really pretty.
Once it was all dry I added some extra foliage behind ...... found in my box of many left over die cut bits, and attached a jingle bell to the centre.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Tin of Tags ....... a great little stamp set designed for tags, but not just Christmas ones so you can use it all year round
Well ..... only 2 more tags to go. Time to get out of my PJs and get on with the day. I'll be back later with Tag number 11 ..... see you then!
Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day

Ho! Ho! Ho! .......
Hello again .....
Time for another festive tag for this year's 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends. If you don't know what I'm talking about .... .where have you been!!??
Each day, for the last 10 days or so, Loll and her friends have been showcasing gorgeous, mixed media style Christmas Tags for what has become a very popular annual event.
Check out Loll's blog for full details or go to the Pinterest page and feast your eyes on all the fabulous tags up to date.
I'm busy trying to catch up ........ it's actually Day 11 today, but I'm only up to Day 9!!!!
What do you think ...... perfect for a certain little special person in this household.
Kraft card (again!) ...... that Tim Holtz Speckles stencil (again!) along with white texture paste ... I'm loving this as a wintry background!
I even added a sprinkling of crystal glitter whilst the paste was still wet.
I then die cut the letters from red cardstock and gave the 'H's the look of the Santa belt. A little on the fiddly side but worth it I think ...... black card stock for the belt, a gold mirri square topped with a smaller black square for the buckle.
And of course ...... the important festive greeting .....
Only two more to go before the final day ...... can I catch up ..... I'm giving it my best shot!
Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your evening.
I've got a rather nice glass of red waiting for me tonight ..... and the next episode of Designated Survivor is available on Netflix, so that's my evening sorted.

STAMPlorations reminder .....
Happy Thursday folks .....
Time for a little reminder about this month's STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge
As always the theme is Anything Goes .... with that optional colour twist.
November's colour is one of my favourite's ....
Perfectly CAS and so quick and easy, using one of the recent new release set of stamps ....... Warm Hands, Warm Hearts ...... there are some festive images on there but ..... a pretty parcel is useful for so many occasions.
I simply stamped the parcel onto white cardstock and embossed with a clear powder ......
Coloured it using Distress ink for the parcel and a bit of gold paint for the ribbon. I then fussy cut around the image, leaving a narrow white border around the edge ....... if you're not that keen on fussy cutting there is a matching set of CUTplorations dies for this stamp set which makes things a little easier
I stamped my greeting directly onto my card ..... one of the great sayings from the Party Time set .... and added a touch of colour to match the parcel.
I attached the parcel over the top using foam pads for dimension and finished off with a few sparkly sequins.
Thanks for popping by ... enjoy the rest of your day.
It's a busy week for us STAMPlorations girls .... don't forget as well as all the regular challenges we having running, we've also got our 2nd Giving Thanks Blog Hop and Linky Party.
Check out the blog for some fabulous designs from the STAMPlorations girls and our 15 Guest Designers. You'll find all the details over there along with a list of amazing prizes up for grabs.

Tag time .......
Hello again ......
It's time for today's tag for the 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends.
It's Tag number 8 for me but I think today is actually Day 10 of the event ...... are you joining in the fun?
I do love making tags, as you've probably guessed, and at this time of year we need so many of them!
My little winter treescape was cut using a die from Impression Obsession ...... cut a few times from white cardstock and again from YUPO paper coloured with Alcohol Inks.
Have you tried YUPO yet? It's so addictive. I started playing after seeing Loll's YouTube video ..... great techniques with different results everytime. This particular piece was coloured by letting drops of the alcohol inks fall onto the YUPO paper and then just letting them spread on their own .... I used shades of greens and blues and added in a touch of brown along with a few drops of the gold mixative. Once it was dry I spritzed the piece with a little Blending Solution and got a fabulous marbled effect.
I started with a black tag and added the snowy sky across the top using my Tim Holtz Speckles stencil and white texture paste
I then die cut my trees and layered the YUPO ones onto the white and created my little winter scene.
The first layer was attached flat onto the tag and you can see that I've added the second layer over the top, using foam pads, to add a bit of dimension
A touch of fine crystal glitter adds some sparkle and of course it needs a festive greeting ..... one of the stamps from the new Penny Black festive snippets 'T' for Transparent set.
And to add the final touch I added a few sparkly sequins ......
Thanks for popping by .... it's time I got the dinner on, hubby will be home soon
Enjoy the rest of your day.
