Time for a break ...... and relax

Happy Wednesday everyone,

What a busy morning I've had. Not doing crafty things today though, unfortunately.  I've been catching up with a load of paperwork and the housework (boring!!!).  I feel so much better now it's done though, just the mountain of ironing to finish this afternoon.  I've even got the evening meal on (thank goodness for the slow cooker!).  So, I think it's definitely time for a quick cuppa, and some chit chat with my blog pals.

First of my Blog Challenge entries this week is Less is More.  I know it's only Wednesday, a little early for me,  but I actually made this card ....... yesterday! - makes a change from the rush job on a Friday.

It's a bit of a special week over at LIM, it's their Birthday.  They're 2!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! LESS IS MORE

As it's a new month, there's also a new sponsor ........ Pink Petticoat, and  there's also some amazing guests joining in with the challenge.   Pop over and take a look at all the fab inspiration from them, and also the regular DT.

This week we have a colour challenge...........

Kraft & Kreme

They want us to use ONLY Kraft and Cream on our creations, here's mine .......
The colours a bit washed out, but it's definitely Kraft and Cream (well, it's Ivory I suppose, I hope that counts!)

I used some Bazzill Kraft cardstock, cut it slightly smaller than my base card and rounded the bottom corners.  Stamped the new Penny Black sentiment ......  moment of joy (4303F) in brown ink towards the bottom of the card, then dry embossed a couple of lines - above and below. (Sorry, these don't show up that well - didn't do a very good job at photographing this did I!)
I used the Memory Box Prim Poppy die and cut it twice from some cream (ivory) cardstock.  The first one is attached to the card using wet glue, the second one I trimmed down then attached using a foam pad under the flower.
Three tiny pearls add the finishing touch.
Hope you like it.

I was also busy yesterday with my project for this week's post on the Indigo Blu DT Blog.  I can let you have a sneaky peek .......
To see this in full, you'll have to pop over there later.

Speaking of the Indigo Blu DT Blog, keep your eyes open over there, for news of something BIG happening soon.  I can't say any more than that, it's a secret! (Oooh, I'm such a tease!!)

Thanks for popping by today.  I've enjoyed my cuppa and a 'chat'.  Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll see you later in the week.

Cheerio for now

Linda

PS  A little heads up for you.  I have a post scheduled for tomorrow over on the Craftwork Cards Blog.  There's going to be a little Giveaway from me on there.

Oh, yum, Linda, I love that die so much, but that sentiment is new to me and it's sensational, especially with the three little pearls! It's a perfect card for LIM this week ~ really, really scrummy!! (Thank you for the details on the PB stamp so I can put it on the old wish list!)
