25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019 .......

Happy Thursday ......

I'm getting into the Christmas spirit again today for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019 event.

Each year this fabulous blog event is hosted by the lovely Tracey McNeely, and she's joined by a whole host of craft companies ..... this year there's 26! sponsoring the event.

Check out the main event post for a full list of the sponsors, guidelines to follow if you would like to join in the event, and of course the all important linky.

Today is Day 4 of the event and I'm thrilled to be joining in this year as one of the Brand Ambassadors for UNIKO.
Here's my tag .......

I'm loving this brand new Uniko Sparkling Snowflake Die ...... it's so pretty and such a great size.

This is so quick and easy, but will look fab on all those Christmas gifts.  Just change the colours of glitter card to match your festive colour scheme.
A quick tip .... if you don't have the right colour of glitter card, use silver or a white and add the colour using Copic markers, or any alcohol based pens, it works a treat!

I die cut the snowflake from glitter card ........

I die cut three circles, each a different size ..... one from Kraft card, one black and one from silver glitter card.  The silver layer isn't a full circle ......... no point in wasting precious glitter card that you can't see.  I used two circle dies, one smaller than the other,  to create a frame for the middle layer.

I layered everything together and attached the snowflake using foam pads.  I then used one of the sentiments from the new Uniko Festive Sentiments Outlined to add to the centre.

I told you they were quick and easy ........... so here's a few more.

Now I just need to make a start on my Christmas shopping!

Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of your day and have fun with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event.

Hubby's away this weekend, he's off to Blackpool to the GUKPT (Grosvenor UK Poker Tour). Fingers crossed he has a good weekend!!

I'm staying put this time ...... I'm still trying to catch up after our last little trip.  I'm looking forward to a nice weekend in my craft room.

Cheerio until next time .......

The weekend is here ......

Happy Friday .....

Well we're home!  The crossing wasn't too bad, a bit like a roller coaster in places ....... up and down, side to side ...... but we had a cabin again so we slept for most of it.
We crammed in as much as we could whilst we were in the UK ....... sadly not enough time to see everyone though.

It's business as usual again now.   There's exciting DT stuff to do, I've still got a couple of tags left for the 12 Tags event, and I have a  Christmas workshop tomorrow (Saturday).  Things are getting a little Christmas crazy around here and it's not even December yet!!!

Speaking of Christmas though, I'm catching up the 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends ......

Here's my tag, or should I say tags, for Day 11 ......

Inspired by the girls from STAMPlorations, I've used some of the fabulous festive sentiments from their Christmas Typografia range
I love large sentiment stamps and these are perfect for creating really quick and easy, yet stunning Christmas cards, and they are great for tags

I simply stamped and heat embossed the words onto my coloured tags .......

This one is perfect to make into a Christmas tree ..... a simple tub on the bottom and a few dots of glitter glue here and there for the baubles,

Or why not add a sprinkling of Chunky White Embossing Powder to give a great snowy look.

Simple fussy cut holly leaves on the bottom of this one ..... very festive.

A popular technique at the moment is to give this spotlight effect ...... achieved by simply blending the same colour of ink as your base card but, a shade or two darker, around the edges of your tag

I love the effect .... don't you.

I'm also linking these tags up the 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018 ...... hosted by Tracey McNeely

Thanks for popping by ....... I know it's getting late. I've been trying to blog all day but things just kept getting in the way!
I'm going to put my feet up, catch up on some TV and have a nice G&T ...... I've earned it today.

Cheerio until next time .....

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2018 .....

Happy Thursday ......

It's party time!  Welcome to Day 8, of the 8th annual Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

Yes ...... that's 25 days filled with amazing Christmas tag designs. Are you feeling festive yet?

Each day Tracey is joined by the DT from one of the event sponsors, to share lots of inspiration for gorgeous Christmas tags.  Just look at the line up .....

Today's guest with Tracey is ........... the fabulous Uniko  (Whoo Hoo!!)
I'm thrilled, and so proud to be joining Bev and the rest of the DT, to showcase fun tags designed using the fabulous Uniko products.

I couldn't resist using this little guy ...... Ho! Ho! Ho!

He's from the Jolly Christmas set which was released at the end of October, and how cute is he!

I stamped him onto white cardstock, coloured him using ZIG Markers and then fussy cut the image before attaching him to my tag .....

The background was inspired by my lovely Uniko team-mate Sarah G, from one of her designs which I fell in love with, from the last Uniko release.
It's just one of the stamps from the new Background Builders - Christmas 2018 set, stamped using Distress Oxide inks ..... simple but very effective don't you think.

I added a sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks - Christmas to the bottom of the tag, and finished off with a simple foiled strip ....... a piece of narrow, double-sided tape across the bottom, covered with gold gilding flakes, then gently rubbed over with a soft sponge to remove the excess.

I just need the parcel to put it on now!

All the links to the rest of the Uniko DT can be found over on the Uniko Blog, and you can check out all the details for this year's 25 Days of Christmas Tags over on Tracey's blog.  There you'll find the all important guidelines to follow, how to link up your own tags,  and also how to be in with a chance of winning one of the fabulous prizes on offer.

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day, and have fun creating all your Christmas tags.

Before I go though I'm linking my tag up to the 12 Days of Christmas Tags with Loll & Friends ..... well it would be rude not too!  This will be tag number 4 for me .... I'm keeping up so far.

Cheerio until next time .....

STAMPlorations are guesting on the 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely ......

Happy Wednesday .....

Welcome to Day 22 of the 7th Annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey McNeely

It's so exciting to be part of this amazing event.
I'm here as part of the TAGplorations team from STAMPlorations who are today's sponsors.

For my tag I've used the brand new STAMPlorations Sketchy Yule Trees along with the CUTplorations Tags #1 Nesting dies

I cut my tag from Kraft cardstock and stamped one of the trees across the bottom and heat embossed in white

The sentiment is from The Christmas Reindeer stamp set from the Bee's Knees range at STAMPlorations and I used a stencil along with some white texture paste for the snow, sprinkled with crystal glitter to add a touch of sparkle

I stamped the same tree again, this time onto white cardstock.  I stamped it 4 times, heat embossed in white, and fussy cut them, cutting each one down following the layers so that I could decoupage them and add a bit of dimension before attaching it to the tag using foam pads

All of the trees were colored using ZIG Marker pens and I added a few dots of glitter glue for the decorations

To finish off I added a strip of scalloped cardstcok across the bottom of the tag

You can see the rest of the STAMPlorations Design Team's Tags over on Tracey McNeely's Blog today.  Have fun with the challenge and Happy stamping!

I'm also linking this tag up to the 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll and Friends.

I've missed playing along each day but at least the linky is still open so I can squeeze this one in before the deadline.

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day.
It's back to the Santa project for me ..... it's taking me a while!  Hope I end up on the Nice list this year!

Cheerio until next time ......
