End the year with a bit of Glitz & Glamour

Happy Sunday before Christmas!

It's the shortest day of the year too ...... winter has officially arrived!

The 21st of the month also means that there's a brand new challenge over at IndigoBlu.  It's the final one of 2014 and we're seeing out the year with a bit of ......

As always there's a fab prize for the winner ......... your choice of IndigoBlu stamps, and the chance to be a Guest Designer spot on a future challenge (oooohhh!),  and there's a Top 3 (chosen by the DT) who also get the chance to have their work on a future challenge inspiration post.  Fancy giving it a go ..... well you have until 8pm on January 20th to get your entries in ....... who knows,  you could be our next winner!

You'll find fabulous inspiration pieces from more of the DT, over on the Challenge Blog.  Here's a little something from me to get you started......

Gold and Silver ...... on black ...... always glamorous!

Some of you may have seen this before ...... so I won't go into too much detail on how I made it.  If you haven't ........ then you can find all the details here.

Those beautiful baubles are from the IndigoBlu 2014 Christmas release ........ 'Connor's Crown Jewels' and have simply been stamped using Flitter Glu and then Sheffield Steel (silver) and Chariot of Fire (gold) Flake added over the top ...... simple!
The snowflake border was done in exactly the same way, and I added a touch of bling to finish off.

Now it's your turn ......... have fun and Good Luck!

Thank you to everyone that's entered the IndigoBlu challenges over the last year ..... I hope you've had as much fun as the rest of the Design Team and I have had.

Have a lovely Christmas and Happy IndigoBlu New Year!

Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Cheerio until next time

It's challenge time again - Tag ........You're it!

Morning folks,  Happy Weekend!

Well, the holiday is nearly over (sigh!) We'll all be back on the Isle of Man tomorrow evening .........  for a short while at least anyway!

The old craft room door will be open again Monday, and things should get back to normal ..... busy! in other words.

We left the beautiful cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water yesterday (Friday) and are now back in the North of England, spending time with family and friends.

Today's main task is to drive over to Sheffield and clear out Christopher's student flat .... oh joy!  Uni is finally over, and he's decided to come home to the Isle of Man.  We just need to get all his stuff and hope that it fits in the car!!!  Then it's the long wait until he actually graduates later in the year ...... I'm one proud mum!!!

Anyway, another important event today is the launch of a brand new challenge over on the IndigoBlu Blog.
Thanks to everyone that entered last month, we had some fabulous Monochromatic designs, glad you all had fun with the theme.
Congratulations to our winner ......  number 17
Eve

and also the Top 3 chosen by the DT.

This month's theme for you to all have fun with is ......

Create something fabulous but use a tag on there somewhere.  Your projects could be tag shaped, use an actual tag, make a tag book ..... the choice is up to you.  Just remember to use IndigoBlu stamps ONLY, and have fun!

You know me .... I love making tags.  I've got an oversized, hinged version for you today using images from  the IndigoBlu Boadicea stamp set .........

I started off with a large black tag (approx  5x10.5 inches) and cut off the bottom 2.5 inches.  I then punched 3 holes across the bottom of the large section and three across the top of the small one, so that the two pieces can be joined together later on.

I applied Flitter Glu through the IndigoBlu Flourishes stencil, randomly over both pieces of the tag, covered with Manchester Tart Mega Flakes and scoochied off the excess in the usual way

Don't forget, if you use Flitter Glu through your stencils you need to wash them straight away .... just like you do with your stamps.

I then stamped the Boadicea image onto a piece of Kraft cardstock using a brown ink, and cut it out using the Sizzix Alterations Vintage Cabinet Die

I added some shading around the edge using Aged Mahogany Distress ink, and also a little onto the stamped image.
I used a Stardust Gel pen to add some highlights around her, and then using a very fine paintbrush I painted some strands of her hair with Flitter Glu and then added more of the Manchester Tart Mega Flakes

I stamped the word 'Courage' from the same stamp set, onto some Kraft card, cut around it and attached it to the bottom, and added another of the sentiments to the top. The whole thing was then attached onto the large part of the hinged tag

For the bottom section I cut a piece of cardstock big enough to fit the large sentiment from the stamp set, added a touch of colour using Distress inks and this time I used the same Flourishes stencil but inked through it instead of the Flitter Glu.
I used my Flitter Glu around the edge along with the Mega Flakes, to give a nice border

I added some eyelets to the punched holes in both tag pieces and then joined them together using jump rings. The words were attached onto the hinged section, and then the tag was finished off with some painted Altered Egos.

Tag! .... you're it!   Now it's your turn.  You have until 8pm on July 20th to get your entries in ....... and you could be our next winner.  Have fun and good luck everyone!

Thanks for poppin by ...... enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio until next time

A little bit of Metal ........

Hello there,

As promised yesterday, I'm back with my latest make for Less is More
It's Recipe week this week, and the girls have chosen ......
METAL
We have to add something made from metal to our designs ....... it can be anything from charms to diecuts, brads to eyelets .... the choice is ours.

Here's mine .......

I've added a cute little metal bird charm ......

and ..... I've also used some gilding flakes, adding a nice metallic finish to the birdcage  ...... not sure if this counts though.

I masked off a section down the side of a piece of white cardstock then added some colour using Distress inks.  The masks were then removed and the Kaisercraft Bird Cage was stamped using Black Versafine ink.
I stamped the bird cage again, moving it slightly to the right of the first image and this time I used IndigoBlu Flitter Glu and then added Sheffield Steel Mega Flakes .....

You can still see some of the black stamped image coming through, adding more detail to the cage.

The sentiment is from Magnolia ........

and the branch at the top is an old Hero Arts stamp.

As always I've finished off the inside too ....

Well, that's another job done for this week ...... still no Tim Tag though - sigh!  Hopefully that's tomorrow's task .... no wait ..... that IS tomorrow's task!  No matter what, it's got to be finished .... last day of the month and all that.  It's also my day to post on the Creative Studios DT blog ...... good job I got my project done today then isn't it!

Thanks for popping by .... see you all again tomorrow.

Cheerio until then .......

Sniff, sniff ..... cough, cough

Happy Sunday,

I hope you're all having a nice weekend.  Did you see Kay on the telly yesterday with IndigoBlu?   Two more great shows full of fabulous products (did you like the new stamps?), along with great tips and techniques from the boss, and lots of inspiration ideas from the DT ..... well done girls, great job!!

Well I should have know it wouldn't last ...... everyone around me has been coming down with one bug or another, coughing and sneezing everywhere, and I've managed to escape them all ..... until now that is!!  There it was this morning ........ headache, sore throat, stuffy nose ..... just what I need!!  So ...... to try and stop things getting any worse I'm taking the day off!  I'm taking to the sofa with a box of tissues, some hot lemon and the TV remote!

Before I do though ..... here's this week's little bit of festive spirit for the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge

The theme this week is .......

USE A STOCKING

Here's mine .....

These little stockings are soooo cute ....... and how true is that sentiment!

The background was created using my favourite favourite IndigoBlu stamp - Vintage Flourish  along with the Flitter Glu and Flake (Chariot of Fire) stamped onto some red cardstock.  It's not an actual 'Christmas' stamp but I think it works so well ....... very elegant.

I then stamped the words in the centre of a square of white cardstock, and embossed using a red embossing powder. It's a cute little cling stamp from Stampendous called 'get socks' (CRF218)  and it always makes me giggle ...... great for those dreaded mens cards I think.

I stamped the snowflakes around the edges using Versamark ink and then lightly dusted over the top with pearlescent gold and silver chalks

My 'stockings' have been hung onto the bottom of the words.  They're a cute little stamp from Art Impressions that I've had for a good few years, I just stamped them onto white cardstock, coloured them with Copic Markers and cut them out .......

A bit of matting and layering, and some sparkly gems finish the card nicely.

That's another one to go into the Christmas box ..... I've even done the inside so it's all ready to go.  I'm getting quite the collection now.

The fun part is going to be deciding who gets what.

Thanks for popping by today.   I see I have another new follower this week too ...... thanks for joining me, I do hope you enjoy the journey.

Until next time ........

(a sniffly and croaky)  Cheerio for now

Christmas ........in July!!!!!

Season's Greetings, and a Happy Monday,

I'm sorry to mention the 'C' word again, especially as the sun is still cracking the flags outside.  We're all thinking about barbeques and salads along with tall glasses of something cool, not trimming the tree, roasting a turkey and hot chocolate by the fire.

But, it's that time in July again when there's a brand new Indigo Blu Forever 21 Challenge., and this month's theme is ..........

CHRISTMAS IN JULY  (Ho! Ho! Ho!)

The challenge is actually launching a day late this time, but we do have a good reason for that .......... we were all a little busy with the Indigo Blu Open Weekend.  Thanks to everyone involved and to those of you that came along and made the opening a huge success.

Before I show you my DT inspiration though, Congratulations to the winner of the last challenge ......

 No. 14   Almo

Well done and thank you for taking part in the challenge.   I hope you enjoy your prize.

Indigo Blu recently launched their brand new range of Christmas stamps, so we thought it was the perfect time for you get your thinking caps on and start designing this years Christmas cards. I know some of you will have already made a start, but  if you're anything like me, the festive stash is still well and truly locked away (well it was!!!)  Panic usually sets in about the middle of November when I realise just how many Christmas cards I need!
Each year I have good intentions.  For instance, in January this year I said I was going to make at least one Christmas card every week.  How many have I got so far ........ 0!   The only Christmas cards I've made so far are the one's for the TV.  Not to worry, there's still loads of time ...........

Here's some inspiration to maybe get you started ....

I've used the Stag Cliffhanger stamp - love this!
You can see it is all one stamp, but just by masking off the bottom part (the Christmas sentiment), you could actually use the stag all year round - great for men's cards I think. Don't lock this one away at the end of December.

I've made a large 8x8 design here, but you could make this smaller.  Or, maybe just use the stag scene for the cards you send to everyone and his dog (well, it is Christmas) and use the larger design for family and special friends.

The background panel was done using the Baubles Flourish (another of my favourite stamps - this is going to get used a lot!).  I've stamped the flourish part around the edge of a piece of cream cardstock using Coffee Archival ink, then inked the edges with a touch of Vintage Photo Distress.  I've also picked out all the dots within the design, and used a Quickie Glue pen over them, left the glue to go tacky then covered them with Chariot of Fire Mega flake.  Left it to dry completely, then scoochied off the excess.

The winter scene was created using masks, hand cut from copier paper, and Vintage Photo Distress ink.  I masked off the bottom of the stamp, inked it up using the Coffee Archival again, then removed the mask BEFORE I stamped the stag.

The extra bits of foliage around the edges were done using just the tips of the tree - first and second generation stamps, to create a bit of depth.

Everything was then mat and layered using red and Kraft cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment part of the Stag Cliffhanger onto cream card using Crimson Red Versafine.  I then cut around it, mat and layered to match the rest of the card, and added a pretty organza bow.

I finished off with just a touch of fine crystal glitter to highlight the snow .....

Are you feeling festive yet? Want something a little quicker to make?  How about this one .....

Really quick and easy, using the stunning new Baroque Bauble.
8 x8 again.  Stamp the bauble, towards the top left hand corner, using Flitter Glu.  Cover with Mega Flake, I used Winter Dawn, and scoochy off the excess.
Make yourself a mask to cover the bauble.  With this in place, stamp the bauble again, this time using a metallic ink, and stamp slightly overlapping the one that's masked.

Add a pretty bow and some gems to finish.

Have you got the festive spirit now?   Why not dig out those Indigo Blu Christmas stamps and get creating.
You have until 8.00pm on August 20th to get your Christmas in July entries in.  It may just have cooled down a bit by then - or not!

Have a great week.  I'm looking forward to seeing all your festive designs.  Good luck to all of you.

Happy crafting!  Oh, and Merry Christmas!!!!!!
Cheerio for now

Doesn't Time fly ........

Happy Friday everyone,

Welcome to my new followers this week.  Thank you for taking the time to share in my crafty journey,  it's nice to have you along.

It's a little bit chilly on the Isle of Man today, and it's SNOWING!!!  Nothing like what parts of the UK are getting but the white stuff is definitely falling.  I don't think we're getting enough here in Douglas to cause any major problems (famous last words!) but, up on the mountain road is a different story .........
These are pictures taken this morning from the IOM Webcams up there ...........Brrrrrr!!!
We're off across to the UK tomorrow morning (hopefully!) I'd better wrap up warm I think.

The reason for our little trip across is Lauren's birthday.  She was 21 yesterday, and we're having a little family get together on Saturday.
Where has that time gone, I ask myself.  My baby's all grown up ......... and she now has a baby of her own. How old does that make me feel ........!!?!!

As it's a special birthday I had to make a special card ......
....... it's even got a box!  Here's what's inside ......
I hope she likes it ........ it's a 'more is more' sort of card.  I got a bit carried away I think.  There's a lot of my favourite products on there, Fran-tage, Mega Flakes, the Indigo Blu Vintage Flourish stamp  ......
I've used my Cricut machine for the numbers (Storybook cartridge), and a Tim Holtz Alterations die for the clock ....
..... which has been painted and crackled to give an aged look.
Of course there had to be a key on there somewhere too, and I had to put lots of flowers, a handmade paper rose, ribbon, lace, beads, glitter for a bit of sparkle, you name it, it's on there ........

The inside has been decorated too, just to finish it all off ....

As I've said, I hope she likes it.

Well, that's another busy week nearly over.  I've just to do my weekly post over on the Creative Studios DT Blog then I can close the old Craft Room until Sunday.
Here's a sneaky peek of this weeks project ........

a little something for the guys again .... maybe.

Have a lovely weekend.  Stay cosy and warm.

Cheerio for now

Flying Solo

Morning everyone,

Sorry I went AWOL yesterday.  No time to blog,  busy, busy week ahead.

I'm off across to the UK again this afternoon, just until Thursday evening this time, so I won't be posting again until the end of the week  - who said 'Thank Goodness for that!' (only joking).

The reason for this trip is the Indigo Blu Not a Christmas Party.  The lovely Kay and Alfie have got all their team together, including all the Design Team.  I'm so excited, it's going to be great to finally meet everyone.
Most of yesterday was spent sorting out what outfits to take, trousers or a dress - Trousers definitely (I don't do dresses unless it's a long one!)
Do I sparkle or not sparkle - couldn't decide so I'm taking both.
Shoes or boots - again taking both (I much prefer boots, my feet don't like shoes).
Anyway, finally decided on what to take, covered just about every occasion (I never travel light!).  My  suitcase is packed and I'm ready to go.
It's going to be a bit of an adventure this trip, you see I'm flying on my own, for the first time (eek!)  I'm only going to Manchester so it's not a long flight.  Thankfully the airport here on the Isle of Man is only small so I can't get lost, and I'm being met at Manchester airport by Jo, another of the Indigo Blu Belles, then we're travelling the rest of the way together.  I just hope I can find my way around Manchester airport.

Well enough about my travels.

Did you all see Kay on the telly on Saturday?  What fab shows, as always.  There were some great new stamps and some fabulous new kits available.  If you didn't manage to get what you wanted because of Sell Outs, check out the New Releases Section on the Indigo Blu website.  You should be able to find the products there.

Not all of my samples were featured on the show, here's one that I didn't see ........
You know how I love my oversized tags.
For this one I blended Distress Inks onto the tag, then used one of the new background stamps - Ledger  and stamped randomly over the tag.  The rest of the stamps I've used are also from Indigo Blu - Take the Time
This is one of my favourite sets.  The cogs and the pen nibs have been stamped using the Flitter Glu and the brand new colour of Flake - Autumn Blaze.  It looks fab on black card.
It's all been finished off with a touch of Tim Holtz Idea-ology, some vintage seam binding and cotton ribbon.
I made my own little banner for the bottom from some left over cardstock, and stamped with one of the words from the stamp set Sarah's Choice.

That's about it from me.  I need to do last minute checks that I've got everything for my trip, put a casserole in the slow cooker for my men tonight, then it's off to the airport.

Cheerio for now.

Enjoy your week.  I'll see you Friday, hopefully with my Timmie Tag!

When the cats away ..........

Hello again everyone,

Things are still moving along in the old craft room.  I'm really enjoying myself this week, it's a mixture of doing things that have to be done, deadlines to meet and all that, and doing some stuff just for ME, because I can!

Stephen's away in London for a couple of days.  He's on a business trip with his boss (alright for some!).
Christopher is working every night this week, so come 6 o'clock it's just me and my stash.  I can spend as much time as I like in my craft room, and not feel guilty about it - heaven!
Don't get me wrong, I do miss my other half when he's not here.  In fact, he'll probably read this on his iphone, if he has a minute.  He says he has to check my Blog as it's the only way he finds out what's going on. Hmm!  He does actually read it - usually when he comes in from work.  He's one of my followers too, bless him! (mwah! xx - just for you Stephen).

I'm still playing with my new Halloween stamps, I love em!  For those of you who don't do the whole spooky, Halloween thing I'll try and make this the last one, for a while!
It's the Witches Brew set from Chocolate Baroque and I think I've used all of the stamps on this card, except the words.
I love the spooky scenes you can create.  On this card I've just stamped the images onto white card, and then used some torn paper as a mask, along with some Distress Inks to do a spot of shading here and there to create the background, and to colour the sky.
I've then gone around the edges and stamped the spider's web in black, and sponged a little Black Soot DI over the top.   The scene has then been matted onto a piece of black card leaving quite a large border, about 1/2 an inch or there abouts.
I've then used one of my favourite products at the moment (I have so many I know), Flitter Glu and Flakes from Indigo Blu.
I've used the spider's web stamp again, this time with the Flitter Glu and I've stamped around  the edges of the black card, but also, stamped over the black web in places.  Then used Sheffield Steel flakes over the top.
To get the best results with the flakes, once you've stamped with the Flitter Glu cover the whole area with the flake.   Rub over with the palm of your hand to make sure all the glue is covered, then use your scoochy sponge to remove all the excess and bring out your image .......
The added extras are from the Penny Black 'T for Transparent' set - the pumpkin, and the bats.  The words are from an old Inkadinkadoo clear set - 'Cats and Bats'.

I thought I'd enter this in the latest Blog Challenge over at Ladybug Crafts.  It's Challenge number 2 and the theme is .....
Halloween and/or your favourite embellishment
I think this qualifies, don't you?

Ah well, back to the craft room.  I've done all my household stuff that needs doing.
Today I'm working on my latest project for Sam over at Creative Studios.  You'll be able to see the finished results on the Blog on Friday.  I think I'm going for a frosty look ..... hmmmmm, we'll see.

Thanks for popping by today, I really appreciate you all taking an interest.  I get a real fuzzy feeling when I see how many views I've had, and your lovely comments too - I love my Blog buddies!

Bye for now

Twinchie time

Good afternoon folks,

First off, Welcome to my two latest followers, it's so nice to have you with me on my crafting journey.  I do hope you enjoy reading my ramblings as much as I enjoy writing them.

Yes it's Twinchie time again.  It's Challenge #5 and the subject is .......
                    AUTUMN

It's my favourite season of the year. Summer's over with again (that's if you can call what we had 'summer').  There's a slight chill in the air, along with the chance of the odd frosty morning. The shops are starting to show signs of the summer coming to an end as the autumn/winter fashions appear on the rails - much prefer those to the summer ranges (is that an age thing I wonder?).  Ooh, and what really makes it Autumn for me is, my 'Cinnamon Stick'  and 'Red Apple Wreath' scented Yankee Candles come out of the cupboard.  Now that's Autumn!
I love it when the leaves start to change and fall from the trees, especially when we get some Autumn sunshine too. The colours can be spectacular.   I would love to go to New England in the US and see the fall over there, it's on my 'Places to See' Wish list -   one of these years eh!
I Wish .......

Here's my Autumn Twinchie ......
Sorry, it's not a brilliant picture, the colours are much more vibrant in real life.
I've blended Distress inks for the background, in Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed,  Dried Marigold, a little touch of Peeled Paint and finished off with Rusty Hinge.
The leaf is from an SU  Hostess stamp set - Faith in Nature and it's been stamped in Black Archival ink.  The edges were then sponged with a tiny bit of Flitter Glu and covered with Brighton Pier Flake.  This one is made up of gold shades, bronzes, a bit of silver, orange and a hint of plum, perfect for Autumn.  A couple of gems just  finish it all off.

These little 2x2 pieces of artwork are so much fun to do.  There's already some fabulous inspiration from the DT on the Twinchie Challenge Blog, and some great entries too.  Why not pop over and have a look, you never know, you may just be tempted to give it a go.

Thanks for looking.

Bye for now

Happy Monday!

Hi guys,
Hope you all had a good weekend and managed to enjoy some of the glorious weather that was around.
Saturday was gorgeous here. It did get off to a grey start but once the sun came out it was beautiful.  Just as well, because we were at a BBQ/Lobster Party in the afternoon.  Stephen was put in charge of cooking the lobsters, and I somehow managed to end up as Sous-Chef.
Lots of beer and wine, two small gas stoves, two rather large pans of boiling water, one mean looking meat cleaver and 50 (yes, I said 50!!) LIVE lobsters.  What could possibly go wrong!

Well actually, nothing! Surprisingly.
We made a great team.   (How is it that men like to cook outdoors, but when it comes to cooking in the kitchen that's our job!?)   We managed to cook, serve, and everyone managed to eat, 37 of the lobsters ....

 - as well as 2 large legs of lamb plus all the usual salads, bread, desserts etc., that you get at a BBQ - nom! nom! nom!  The remaining lobsters were cooked yesterday (Sunday) and then Steve and Sarah, who hosted the BBQ, did a take-out service for those that wanted it.  So it was lobster and salmon again for tea.  I don't want to see another plate of seafood until at least November!!!

Even though we had a busy weekend I did manage to spend some time in the old craft room.  I've been playing with paint and inks, masks and Gesso, Flitter Glu and Flakes, Fran-tage embossing powders - I've had a ball!  And what's really good is, the end result is for ME!!

I've been making so many projects recently, for other people, using the dress form, some of which I really didn't want to give away (is that naughty of me?), that I thought it was time I made one for myself.  So here it is .....
..... it's an 8x8 canvas, and there's just about everything on there.  It looks like I'm still in my pink phase too.
I didn't really have a plan when I started out, except that I knew I was going to use a dress form somewhere on there, and there had to be lots of texture too (Ooh!  Now why is that I wonder?  Maybe I'll say more later ...... !?!??)
Most of the inspiration for this came from Hels Sheridan.  I love reading her blog, there's so much inspriation and loads of ideas on there, she's such a talented lady.   If you're not already a fan pop over and take at look - you don't know what you're missing.

Right how did this come together .......
I started by randomly painting the canvas with pastel shades of acrylic paint.  I just kept adding paint until I was happy with the look.   Once it was all dry I used one of the Prima masks and inked through it with Worn Lipstick Distress ink.  I then used another mask, this time with Gesso to add a bit of texture. (Love this stuff - note to self .... Need a new BIGGER pot!
The new Fran-tage Embossing Enamels have been sat on my window ledge for goodness knows how long so I thought it was time I gave them a go.  I used them with a stamp and Versamark ink, just like you would any other embossing powder, and, you can just about see, I also added some to the edges of the piece of corrugated  card, just by sprinkling it on where I wanted it and then heated from underneath so as not to blow it all away.  I used the Shabby Pink, but there's lots of fab colours available.

There's a little bit of gilded crackle (an Indigo Blu stamp), and I've edged the whole of the canvas with Flitter Glu and flakes (Manchester Tart),  again to add a different texture.
The dress form is a Tim Holtz rubber stamp, stamped directly onto the canvas and then just the top half stamped again onto a piece of card, this time in Worn Lipstick DI.  It's then been cut out and attached over the top.
She's been dressed with a little more of the Fran-tage, ribbon flowers and some tulle.  Her wings are an Indigo Blu butterfly stamp done in two layers, one card, one acetate.
I stamped one of my favourite Tim Holtz sayings, cut it out and layered it using the Spellbinders Labels 18 dies.  You can see the black layer has also been put through an embossing folder and then sanded back, more texture.
Also the large paper flower in the corner has been Fran-taged (I'm hooked on this stuff now).  It was stamped, completely covered in Versamark then 2 layers of the Embossing Enamel.  A smaller rose has been added to the centre.
To finish it all off, I used some more paper flowers (Prima), vintage seam binding, some decorative pins, a couple of  metal charms, a few Chit Chat words, and finally, I covered the sides with strips of inked and distressed scrapbooking papers.  I said there was a bit of everything on here.  And the best bit is, it can stay on my craft room wall, for now. Yeah!!

Phew, that was a long one for first post of the week.  I'm hoping to be back later with another one.
I'm off across to the UK tomorrow evening so I need to get a few things done before then.

Thanks for popping by today.
I notice that I've got a couple of new followers again over the weekend.  Hello and Welcome to Shelagh and Brenda.  It's lovely to have you along and I really appreciate you taking the time to read my posts.  It's so nice to know there's someone out there.

Enjoy the rest of your day, and I'll see you all again later.

Bye for now
