Happy Thursday ......
And welcome to December!!! Only 23 sleeps until the big man in the red suit pays us all a visit. I love Christmas .... can you tell!
There's a lot to get done before the festivities can begin though ..... and I don't mean all the shopping, the gift buying, and the wrapping! The cleaning, the cooking, the cards to send ...... not forgetting decorating the tree!!!
No ..... I'm talking about this month's Blog Challenges. Let's get December underway with the STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge.
As always the theme is Anything Goes ..... with an optional Colour Twist. What else could it be for this month but ..... RED and GREEN ..... very festive!
Have you got all your Christmas cards done? ..... or is time running out and you're thinking you'll have to actually buy some this year. Well ..... how about this ..... a nice CAS, fun design using the CUTplorations Jingle All The Way die along with the Warm Hands Warm Hearts stamp set.
I die cut the saying first from a piece of white cardstock, then again from green card, and finally once from red glitter card ......
I then inlaid the green version into the white card ..... cut the bottom section off the sparkly red one and layered that on the top ..... easy, but very effective
I stamped the Christmas stocking from the Warm Hand, Warm Hearts stamp set onto a scrap of white card, coloured it using Copic markers and then fussy cut around it, before attaching it to the card front using foam pads
A few dots of glitter glue here and there for some added sparkle and you're done!
Now it's your turn ..... don't forget you don't have to use the colour twist, and it doesn't have to be a Christmas design ..... anything goes.
Check out the STAMPlorations Blog for all the Challenge details and you'll also find more fabulous inspiration from the rest of the Design Team on there too.
Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day.
I've had a lovely girlie afternoon out with my daughter. A bit of shopping in town, didn't spend too much! Then a nice, long lunch out before picking up the little man from school.
Hubby's not home until late, so no need to cook dinner. He's out on a work's thing this evening so ....... it's just me, a nice glass of red (or two) and Mr Michael Buble! Yes .... it's time to get the festive tunes playing, get the baubles out, and decorate the Christmas tree.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ........ come on, sing along!
Cheerio until next time
