On the second day of December .......

..........  A Christmas card and a blog challenge

Hello there,

What's going on ....... my Less is More Blog Challenge done, and it's only Monday!!!  December's definitely off to a good start.

It's been a busy day in the old craft room today, I've been working on magazine stuff for the new year ....... nice spring colours for a change.  My lips are sealed  though - you'll have to wait until 2014 to see the results.

Here's my card for the LIM challenge this week ........ it's a Lucky Dip week, with the theme ......

And we all like a bit of sparkle at this time of year don't we ......

I've used one of the Sweet Poppy Stencils for my design, along with the Glossy White Stencil Paste - quick and easy with stunning results.  The design has then been covered with Glamour Dust while the paste was still wet, to add the sparkle.  Not sure if the true sparkle comes across in the picture, it was a bit late in the day when I got the camera out - oops!

The sentiment on the bottom is one I've had in my stash for ages, and is one of my favourites.

This is a better picture ...... Just look at that Glamour Dust twinkle - very festive!

It's back to the tree trimming this evening, with Mr Buble to keep me company (I wish!)  I've been out and bought new lights - 400 soft glow twinkling bulbs ....... I just hope it's enough!

Thanks for popping by.  Enjoy your evening, and I'll see you all again tomorrow.

Cheerio for now

  3. Love those sparkly snowflakes.

  4. Stunning sparkly snowflakes - beautiful! I think Mr Buble helps most women out this year decking the halls! He's probably more in demand than Santa himself! Lol! Hugs Bev x
