The sun may be shining but ..... it's time to get a little festive

Happy Tuesday evening ......

What a gorgeous day it's been here ....... and guess where I've been?  In the old craft room again.  Never mind I don't have a bad view from the new place ......

I said it was going to be a busy week and I wasn't kidding.  Tonight sees the start of the Happy Little Stamper's Christmas Challenge for April.

The theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist ....... EMBOSS.

Hmmmm ...... do I stamp and heat emboss, or do I use a pretty embossing folder to do the job. Couldn't decided ....... so I did both!

White on white always looks great and I love the touch of shine from the gold embossing and the tiny dots of glitter glue.

I simply ran the embossing folder through the Big Shot ..... I think it was an old Cuttlebug design

Then I added a few dots of glitter glue here and there for a touch of sparkle

And finished off with a festive greeting ...... one of the stamps from the HLS Mixed Christmas Sentiments stamped and embossed in gold.  This great little stamp set is currently in the Sale on the website .... why not add grab it while you can, it's a bargain!

Of course there's a little something on the inside too ......

A nice festive greeting and a touch  more heat embossing ......

I love these little holly leaves from the HLS Christmas Joy  another really useful set of stamps to have in your stash.

As always the challenge is sponsored by the Happy Little Stampers store

And the challenge winner will receive a discount voucher to spend in the shop. Check out the HLS Blog for all the details

Why not join in the fun.

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day.
I've still lots to do before the end of the week ..... more challenges coming up and I've got another workshop to prep for.
We've also got a couple of birthday gatherings to attend and ..... the beer festival is back.
Yes ...... we've got tickets for the opening day on Thursday (thanks to Chris),  Hubby is taking the afternoon off work so it should be fun.  Not that I really drink beer or ale but, I can give it a try ..... Cheers!

Cheerio until next time
