Introducing ....... Bee Happy and Honeycomb Pattern stencil

Happy Sunday ......

Welcome to the second day of introductions for the new release coming soon from Uniko Studio.  Today we're taking a closer look at the cute little Bee Happy stamp set ...... this is so sweet!

and the Honeycomb Pattern stencil .....

For my inspiration piece today I've used both products, the stencil to create the background layer, and the stamp set for the focal point .......

How cute is little stamp set ..... I love the bee!

I repeat stamped the honeycomb onto a piece of white cardstock, and heat embossed in gold

I then used Wild Honey Distress Ink ..... the perfect shade ..... to add the colour

I stamped the bees onto the card ....... and again onto a separate piece, coloured them with a yellow sparkle gel pen and fussy them before attaching them onto the card using foam pads to give them a bit of dimension.

Because I'd also stamped them directly onto the card, I didn't need to fussy cut the antennae, I just placed them over the top!

A few ink splatters, and a sentiment made up from the word stamps on the same set add the finishing touch.

This was then layered onto a piece of card, inked using the Honeycomb Pattern stencil .........

And I just had to continue the design on the inside ...... I did say I love that little bee!

Check out the Uniko Blog again today, for more ideas using the brand new release.

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day.
We're hoping for a little sunshine later then we can BBQ this evening.

Cheerio until next time .....

Great idea to use the stencil as a background layer. Fabulous honey colours too.

Loveky details with the embossing, and I love that you stenciled the base and kept the front plain.

I love the way you've used the stencil on the diagonal - looks fab! And your golden honeycomb is lush - great work. Fab inside too! Deborah xx

You've designed a 'honey' of a card, both outside and in, Linda! Soooo bee-utiful!

Love the gold around the hive
elements. Stamping the
bees on the card and then
popping another over the
stamped is a great idea.
It's always hard to figure
out what to do for the
antenna - you made it work.
thanks for sharing

Totally spectacular and everything a honey bee should have. Glistening gold embossed outline to the honeycomb and coloured so brilliantly both in the stencil and stamps. A gorgeous showcase of these goodies. x

Fabulous! Very patient lining up for your embossed honeycomb and the finished effect is great. And there's even more with the lovely coordinating stencil background. Great work x
