Use negative space for the Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge .....

Hi there, me again .....

It's all go around here!
It's time for this month's Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge.
We have another fun theme for you this month ..... all about using Negative Space

Remember to keep things Clean and Simple .......

I've got a couple of quick and easy ideas for you ..... first up, the left over card after die cutting these pretty tulips ......

I simply laid the card over a snippet of coloured card I found in my bits box ...... a mop up piece, coloured using Distress Inks I think (I never throw anything away!!)

A simple sentiment .......

I picked up this fab stamp and matching die fom Taylored Expressions (thanks to one of my craft buddies) ......

It stamps a whole load of sentiments in one go, there's something suitable for all sorts of occasions, and then, you use the matching die to cut them all out at once, on perfectly sized banners with just one run through your die cutting machine ...... cool!!

I finished off with a few dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Here's another idea using leftovers from a butterfly die

Again, a piece of coloured card behind ...... (another mop up piece, they always come in handy for something!)

This time I added a simple die cut frame and stamped my sentiment.

I hope you play along with this months challenge.

Happy stamping!

Cheerio until next time.

Products used:
Stamps: Simple Strips Background (Taylored Expressions) and matching die; simpe Happy Birthday stamp
Inks: Delicata Golden Glitz
Others: Tulip Die (I think is possibly Penny Black); Triple Butterfly Die (Memory Box) Oval dies to create frame; Crystal Drops - Pink Orchid (Nuvo)

Beautiful pairings of your mop up pieces and die off cuts, Linda! Those sentiment strips are fabulous! One stamping and one die cutting and you're covered for any occasion!

Those stamps/dies are already on my wishlist! Looks like they are a must! Loving both of your cards, particularly the tulips as they are just one of my fave flowers. And what pretty mop up pieces you have, must search through my bits box to see if I can use up any pretties! :) x

Great use of the scrap box Linda, two fab cards. I love the sentiment set too, may find its way onto my wish list! ;)

WOW! You used your negative space great. These tulips look beautiful and I love black dots, they perfectly complement the card. The second card is equally beautiful.
