Barbara's back with new Clarity goodies .......

Happy Wednesday ......

It's the middle of another week ....... and at last, I've got a minute, or two, to blog!
We've had a busy few days .... but what's new! What with the usual weekend stuff, moving furniture for Chris (he's finally got his sofa's in), shopping with hubby ..... for him not me ..... which is always fun!!!
What is it with men and clothes!  It's a case of pop in one store ....... I'm looking for shirts oooh they look fine ...... I'll have these ..... let's go!  No browsing, no trying on. No going back for the first thing you saw after going in every other shop on the high street (not that there's that many in Douglas!!) And there's definitely no stopping for coffee, we have coffee at home!!!! It's much more fun shopping with girls!

I did get a nice meal out on Sunday though (and Friday come to think of it!) We've set ourselves a little challenge ........ to eat somewhere new each month, somewhere we haven't been before.
You know what it's like, you have your favourite restaurants and you always end up going to the same places ..... and more often than not choosing the same thing off the menu.  Well ....... because there's so many nice restaurants on the island it would be a shame not to try them all, so we're giving it a go!!!
It was Castletown's turn at the weekend ..... a place called Leonardo's.  It was lovely ..... nice Italian style food ..... delicious rosemary focaccia bread and yummy desserts (I saved room for one of those!) ..... bit overpriced on the wine but you expect that!  Definitely one to add to the list of places to go.
We need to decide where to go in March now.

Anyway ........ How's your week going?  Good I hope.

It's been all go in the old craft room too.  I've been preparing for a workshop at the weekend which should be fun, and I've also been playing  ooops! ........ working with some new Clarity goodies too.

Yes Barbara is back on our screens on Thursday ....... that's tomorrow! ........ on HOCHANDA (Sky 663/Freeview 39/Freesat817) at 11am, 3pm and again at 5pm.  I think I've got that right but you might want to double check it on the Clarity website or Barbara's Blog

There's some fab new stamps coming up ..... not giving too much away though, you'll have to tune in to the shows ........ or set the record button

There's a great new set of stamps ...... fun words with some fabulous little add on stamps ....... great for creating backgrounds

Perfect for doing quick and easy, fun cards ......

There's a really useful frame in there too!

Puzzled?  I do like a good jigsaw ....... something new to create your artwork on perhaps!

The rest of the DT have been busy too so there'll be lots of inspiration on the shows for you, and of course Barbara will be in action using the new products too.  So ......book your seat or set your Sky Box to record ...... and enjoy!

Barbara's back ........

If you're a Clarity fan then you'll be pleased to know that Barbara is back on our screens again this weekend with lots of brand new Clarity goodies.
Make a date with HOCHANDA this Sunday ....... that's Sky channel 663/Freeview 39/Freesat 817 .... at 2pm and 5pm.  Then the lady's back again at 8pm to launch a new One Day Wonder ..... oooh!!!

I've been busy in the old craft room playing working with some of the new goodies so here's a few sneaky peeks at some of my DT pieces that will hopefully be on the shows .....

Barb's back on the telly!!

Happy weekend!

Well the celebrations are over ....... the old craft room door is open again ...... and it's time to get back to normal, whatever that is!!

Did you all have a good New Year's?  Ours was nice and quiet(ish!) spent with friends.  A meal out, a bit of a sing song at what's known as Saddleoke ..... we only popped in to wish Chris a Happy New Year and somehow hubby and friend ended up giving everyone a song!!!! You know what he's like when's he's had a few ..... thank goodness we were only staying for the one!!!  Then it was back to ours for champagne and Big Ben at midnight to welcome in 2016 ...... lets hope it's a good one!

I'm starting the year with a little bit of Clarity ..... sneak peeks anyway.
Barbara is back on the telly this weekend ........

Tomorrow, Sunday January 3rd for her regular 2 hour show at 2-4pm. 

Then she's back again in the evening, launching a one day special at 8pm, which also means she's back on Monday with 4 more live shows ..... busy lady!!  All you Clarity fans are in for a real treat!

It's the 5th day of December ........

and I think it's stopped raining ..... for now!!!

Happy weekend .....

From a very windy and very wet Isle of Man.  Boy has this little island taken a beating in the last couple of days.  We've had floods all over the island, landslides on the mountain road, roads closed, buildings damaged, cars abandoned or washed away .....

A bus ended up in the river after the bridge it was on collapsed ..... thankfully no-one was hurt

We've had strong winds, trees down, roads closed, high tides and no ferries.  Even some of the planes have been cancelled.  Thank goodness our food cupboards are well stocked and the freezers are full!!
My heart goes out to those who have been affected by all this ..... luckily we've not been too bad ...... the kitchen roof is leaking in three places but it's nothing that a few plastic containers and a couple of old towels can't handle!!!
It's supposed to ease off a little tomorrow ..... lets hope so.

Speaking of tomorrow ...... Barbara is back on the telly with ClarityStamps

More lovely new stamps, stencils and Groovi boards to tempt you with.  Maybe a little early Christmas present to yourself ..... go on, you deserve it!!

I'm off now to put the new baubles on the tree ..... yes I bought a few more yesterday, bet I still don't have enough though!!

Week 245 OLC  Autumn theme

This weekend it's the last Sunday in October (how did that happen!!) and you know what that means ...... Barbara is back on the telly!!!
I mentioned in yesterday's post that Barb was back with more brand new Clarity designs, as well as some favourites .... a bit of a festive collection to be exact.  Well with a little under 9 weeks to go (eeek!!) Christmas is not that far away now ..... scary!!!

Sunday 27th September ........ tune in to HOCHANDA (Sky channel 663 Freeview 39 Freesat 822) There's a whole Groovi hour at 10am with lots of lovely new stuff!  Then Barb's back at 2pm for a two hour show full of brand new stamps and stencils ...... lots of tips and techniques ..... and fabulous demos.

Hopefully ...... some of my samples with be there too (eeek!)  This will be the first time my Clarity work has been on air ..... NERVOUS is not the word!!!!
