Hello there, me again ......
The first Holiday TAGplorations Blog Hop from STAMPlorations is well underway ..... have you joined in with the fun yet?
No problem .... there's still time you know! You have until November 25th to link up your festive tags .... there's some fabulous prizes up for grabs. Check out the STAMPlorations Blog for all the details
Today is the final day of the inspirations posts ..... there's been some amazing tags created by the Design Team ..... hope you've enjoyed seeing them all.
Today's tag from me is a nice CAS design ...... classic black and gold with one of those cute little Christmas Reindeer taking centre stage again ....
The tag's been cut twice, from black cardstock, using the CUTplorations Luggage Tag Die.
Taking one of the tags I then die the words from the top using one of the CUTplorations phrase dies, and cut it again, this time from gold glitter card.
I inlaid the gold die cut into the black tag and then joined both tags together to securing the words on the back.
I stamped the reindeer onto Kraft card, coloured him using Distress Inks and fussy cut around him.
He was given a touch of sparkle with some glitter and a festive jingle bell tied around his neck before attaching him onto the tag using foam pads.
I finished off by adding a few dots of snow with a white gell pen, and edged around the tag with a gold marker
I'm also linking this up to the 12 Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends ........ I'm trying to play along each day, so far so good but it is only Day 2!
Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day.
The trip to town this afternoon was postponed last minute due to the fact that the weather was dreadful. The warm and cosy craft room seemed a much better idea ..... and I do have a workshop to get ready for.
I still made a start on my Christmas shopping though ...... the mobile phone and the bank card are wonderful things. I got just what I wanted and it's waiting for me to collect on Friday.
Cheerio until next time .....

More Holiday TAGplorations inspiration .....
Happy Sunday ......
How's your weekend going? It's been a bit quiet around here ... but hey! I'm not complaining it's nice not to be rushing around.
I've noticed that there are a few new followers of my little blog. Hello and Welcome to you .... I hope you enjoy your time here ..... it's nice to have you with us.
It's time for a little more inspiration for the first Holiday TAGplorations Blog Hop over on the STAMPlorations Blog.
5 fabulous, festive fun filled days of tag making! Have you joined in the party yet? Don't worry there's plenty of time if you'd like to join in, the linky is open right up until November 25th.
There's some fab prizes up for grabs ..... check out the STAMPlorations blog for all the details.
I've got another really simple, but effective, idea for you today .... using the STAMPlorations Christmas Reindeer stamps again, from the Bees Knees range ..... I love these!!!
Kraft card again, this time with a little bit of white embossing .......
The snowflakes are from the same stamp set ...... you also get a couple of sentiments on there too so it's a great little set to add to your Christmas stash.
I simple stamped the snowflakes over my tag (cut using the CUTplorations Luggage Tag dies) using Versamark ink and then embossed with a white, fine detail powder.
It's always a good idea when you're heat embossing, to dust over your cardstock with an anti-static bag before you start stamping ..... this helps to stop any embossing powder sticking where you don't want it, giving you a nice crisp finish.
I stamped one of the small deer from the stamp set onto Kraft card, added a touch of colour using Distress Inks and then fussy cut around him. If you're not a fan of fussy cutting, you're in luck ......these stamps have a set of matching dies available ..... how good is that!
I then die cut the words, using the CUTplorations Let it Snow die, once from plain white cardstock, and again from a piece of previously coloured card that was on my desk ..... left over from another project I think. I layered the two together, slightly off set to give a shadowed look.
I love the blue with the Kraft card ..... it gives a nice frosty look I think.
Thanks for popping by ...... enjoy the rest of your day.
Cheerio until next time .....

Fancy a Blog Hop? ......... you've come to the right place
Hello again .....
I said it's been a busy week. ....... and today is no exception.
The STAMPlorations girls have been getting ready for a fun, maybe just a little festive, Blog event.
Welcome to the first Holiday TAGplorations Blog Hop ..... Ho! Ho! Ho!!!
Five days of tag making fun gets underway today and you can join in the fun too.
Hop along through the all blogs, leave comments on the way for the chance to win some fabulous prizes.
Create your own holiday/festive tags, link them to the TAGplorations Linky Party and you could be a winner .... there's fabulous dies and gift certificates up for grabs, and maybe just a few surprises along the way too.
The STAMPlorations girls have been busy creating tags for the event .... here's a little festive idea from me ......
I'm loving white ink on Kraft card at the moment, and it makes the perfect wintry backdrop for this festive reindeer. This little guy is one of the images from the STAMPlorations Christmas Reindeer stamp set ..... so cute! You can get matching CUTplorations dies too which is great if you don't like fussy cutting.
I cut my tag from a piece of Kraft card, using the CUTplorations Luggage Tag Dies. Using a piece of copier paper I made myself a mask to create the hills and used a white ink sponged along the edge to build up my winter scene
With the mask in place I stamped a few fir trees in the background to add a bit more detail and finished off with some sparkly glitter and a few dots with a white gel pen, to give the look of falling snow.
I stamped the reindeer, again onto Kraft card and added a touch of colour using Distress Ink.
A sprinkling of glitter and a shiny red nose gives him a little festive sparkle. And to finish off the tag I added one of the sentiments from the same stamp set to the top .....
Fancy joining in the fun?
