Before the chaos starts ........

Good morning,

Just a quick post before I get stuck in to all the party prep for this evening.
I've already been to the butchers to collect my delicious Christmas spiced ham and the turkey breast is sat in the oven basting nicely! Just got the salads to do, pasta, potatoes, dress a side of salmon, sort out the nibbles and dips, Lauren's on with the Sushi and I've got desserts to make!!!  Eat your heart out Delia!!

Anyway .... I just wanted to let you know you can find me on the IndigoBlu DT Blog today ..... it's been a while!
I've been taking some time off from the DT but I wanted to do my last Step by Steps for the year on our regular Technique Day post ...... gives me a chance to wish all you IndigoBlu fans a Merry Christmas.  Pop over to the blog and see what I've been up to .......

Right ...... I'm off to the kitchen now ...... I may be some time!  The champagne may just get opened early .... I think I'm going to need it ..... Cheers!!

Thanks for popping by ...... have a fun Thursday!

Cheerio until next time

In print again .....

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I've got big plans for this week on the craft front - there's still lots to do on the list before the end of the month.
One big job is all finished though - IndigoBlu samples for Kay's next show.  The last lot have been parcelled up this morning and are all set to go into the hands of the Royal Mail tomorrow - phew!
Here's a sneaky peek at some of the things in the box .......

Speaking of IndigoBlu ....... I've been published again this month.  The article is in Papercraft Essentials Issue 101 and is available now.

My brief was to create 5 co-ordinating cards, suitable for Men's Birthdays (!!!?!), showing how you can use the IndigoBlu Mega Flakes and stamps.

Hmmmm ..... masculine birthdays ....... my favourite!  But I think I got them covered.

Oh well, better get back to work.
I must say I'm finally beginning to feel a little festive, I think it must be all the mulled wine and gingerbread from the Continental market at the weekend (yum!)   We started the Christmas shopping too.  The tree'll be going up next!
I even made my first Christmas card over the weekend (just the one!)  I'll be back later in the week to share - it's to enter into a Blog Challenege, can you guess which one?

Thanks for popping by today.  Enjoy the last week of November, the festive season is approaching fast!

Cheerio for now

Me and my Bright Ideas ..........

Happy Wednesday,

Hi, my name's Linda and I'm a Craftaholic!  It's official ........ I have too much stash!!!!

What's brought all this on ....... me deciding to clear out and tidy the old craft room, that's what!  If you ever have the urge  DON'T DO IT!!!!!  Just keep putting stuff in there, it'll be fine.
'It won't take long' I said on Sunday afternoon - yeah right!   I'm STILL at it!!!!  And I still can't see my desk.

It all started with Hubby giving me a set of small drawers from his office.  I already had two sets, but he wasn't using the one in his office so I begged it off him.  I decided to sort out the ones I already had, get rid of anything I hadn't used in the last 6 months and fill the new ones.

Not bad eh ...... looks tidy, everything is labelled and to hand when I need it .........

Why oh why couldn't I leave it there ....... I had to go and start on the rest of the room didn't I.  Since then, I've gone through cardstock, cardblanks and envelopes, punches, ribbons, ink pads, the Christmas box.........you name it.  I've even started on the stamps (gulp!)
The positive side to all this is that my craft room is getting a good old, much needed, sort through and I've even managed to find new homes for a lot of the stuff I don't use.  Thanks to all the lovely ladies who have taken my 'haven't used in ages/forgotten I had' craft stash, I'm sure it will all be put to good use.

As you can imagine there hasn't been much 'crafting' going on over the weekend.  I did manage to make a card for today's IndigoBlu Blog post though - eventually!
Here's a little sneak peek for you.........

Pop over to the IndigoBlu DT Blog to see it in full.

Well, I suppose I'd better get back in there.  I've started, so I'll have to finish the job.  I need to find my desk again,  I've got cards to make ....... wish me luck!

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Cheerio for now
