Uniko May 2018 Brand New Release ...... Sneak Peeks Day 1

Happy Tuesday!

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month ..... welcome to May!

What a busy month this is going to be,  and we're starting it all off with the countdown to a brand new release from Uniko Studio .... whoo hoo!  Not only that, the Happy Stampers Festival at Port Sunlight is just around the corner, so looking forward to that ... and guess what! the new Uniko release will all be available to purchase at the show, as well as going live on the website on the same day.

Anyway, more about all that later.  Here's a sneaky peek of some of the new products coming your way ......

There's new stamps.  You might recognise this style of stamp ..... more fab sentiments to add to the popular Simply Said Blocks

One of my favourites next (I have a few from this release) .... I know I shouldn't really say that but this is rather pretty!  A brand new stencil and mask that co-ordinates beautifully with an existing Uniko stamp set ..... hmmm which one could that be I wonder!
(check out the Uniko Blog today for the chance to win this new design, and the stamp set!!)

There's more new stamps ......

And stencils ......

And we're not done yet .... check back tomorrow for more sneak peaks, and start that Port Sunlight shopping list!

Thanks for popping by .... it's going to be a busy week.

Cheerio until next time ....

Scotland will have to wait ..... sigh!

Happy last day of September ......

Well .... guess where I am???

This is where I should be .......

On the morning ferry ........ sailing across the Irish Sea with hubby,  on our way to a lovely, romantic? week away in the highlands of Scotland

I say should be .... because I'm not!!

Unfortunately our little autumn break has had to be put on hold, due to hubby's boss 'needing' him to be in work next week!!!  One of the drawbacks of his promotion I suppose ..... being a director means that work has to come first some times.  I can't complain too much .... they are reimbursing us the costs, so it means we can still go, it'll just have to be some other time. Might just have to wait until the spring though. Don't worry ..... it's going to cost him this weekend though .... hubby has some serious making up to do!

It also means that I'll be around for the start of all the new blog challenges ...... the beginning of the month is always a busy time.  There's some fun themes coming up ......

I'll be back over the weekend with the first of them .... there's a little bit of everything going on

October's going to be fun ......

At least the weather's nice today .....  the sun is shining and the wind has dropped a little (would have been a lovely ferry crossing!)  let's hope it lasts all weekend.

I'm starting mine early ...... well if I'm being truthful, we started last night!  We had dinner out, then ended up down at the Saddleoke.  Always a good night, but there's usually a headache in the morning. So .... it's coffee in town with a friend later then a little retail therapy for me I think ...... I said this weekend was going to cost him!!

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day and have a fabulous weekend.

It's the Happy Stampers Festival at Port Sunlight on Saturday .... my favourite little craft show.  See I could have gone to that now, but I didn't get a ticket because we were supposed to be going away! Never mind there's always next year (sigh!)
If you're going along have a great time .... I know you will.  Say hello to everyone for me.

Cheerio until next time ..... see you in October!

Positively Festive!

Good morning everyone,
It's weekend, thank goodness. Time to slow down and relax a little I think.  This last week has been non- stop for me, and I still didn't get everything done in time - the list goes on!  Sorry Sally, your birthday card is on it's way - honest!

Just a quick word about last nights football, England WON - well done lads!  We beat Sweden 3-2 It didn't look like a win was possible at one point but they pulled it off.  Let's hope we can keep it up on Tuesday next week, we need at least a draw against the Ukraine.

The dreaded 'C' word was spoken this week - yes that's right CHRISTMAS!!  Now I know it's only the middle of June and we haven't had summer yet, but some of us have had to put our Santa hats on and find some festive spirit.
I've been working on Christmas cards since Wednesday, and I'm feeling positively festive.  I even came close to getting the Christmas CD's out on Friday afternoon when a friend joined me, who was also planning Christmas cards, but in the end we thought maybe it was a little too early.
I must admit I do like making Christmas cards.  At the beginning of this year I said I was going to make at least 1 every week so that come December there wouldn't be that mad rush to get everything finished before the big day.  Well, I have the grand total of ........... NIL so that idea worked well!  I tell a lie, I do have some cards left over from last year, but I haven't actually made any new ones.  Oh well, it's only June - plenty of time (haha).

I can't actually share with you what I've spent my time on this week, but I can tell you they were Indigo Blu stamps that I was working with (gorgeous, by the way), and that Kay is back on Create and Craft next Wednesday (20th) with 2 shows that are all Christmas.  If you are around tune in on Sky channel 671, Freeview 36 or Freesat 813, the stamps are all fab and Kay will have some great ideas to get you started on your own Christmas designs. And my cards should be on the telly too, if they arrive on time.
I'm going to be very naughty now and give you some sneaky peeks ........ shhh! don't tell anyone will you.
..... and the ivy
oohh..... who could this be?

mwah!!

looks a bit frosty ....

same as above but different .... ?
I don't think I've given too much away have I.  Once everything has been on air, I'll be back with all the details.  In the meantime all of the stamps are available on the Indigo Blu website.  Check them out here  Along with the stamps there's a whole range of other fabulous stuff to tempt you.

Well, must be off, things to do.  Have a lovely weekend whatever you're doing.  I hope the weather is kind to you. It hasn't got off to a great start here.  Ah well, great excuse to spend the afternoon crafting.

Bye for now,
Linda
