Good morning!
Happy Friday to you.
I just want to remind you that the current Take It Make It Challenge is in full swing over on the Craft Stamper Blog.
There's always a great prize for the winner, and October's is fab! .......
A collection of stamps from Paperbabe ....... the Tree Hug set, Cumulus background AND a character stamp of your choice.
So what's the challenge again ........
Well, this month, the theme is ......
MULTI COLOURED STAMPING
We want to see designs where you've used more than one colour of ink on your stamps.
This technique is so much fun to do ..... and so effective. Just by changing the colours you use, your stamped image can look so different.
Use ink pads, markers, or even paints to colour your stamps, and then stamp away!
Last week I showed you how I made my own custom ink pad using Distress Re-Inkers, to get the multi-coloured look. This week, I've got the same effect but I've used different coloured ink pads directly onto my stamp .... easy!

I used Memento Dew Drops ..... these cute little ink pads are perfect for this technique. The colours I used are Dandelion, Cantaloupe, Morocco and Olive Grove.
The stamp is called 'blush' and is from Penny Black ....... and it's a really clear image for using more than one colour.
You can see I also used first and second generation stamping too ..... to add a bit of depth in there

The words are from a winnie & walter clear set called the Big, the Bold and the Happy and have been stamped simply in a black ink
To finish off the design I added a few multi coloured ink splats around the words, using one of the stamps from the Stampin Up! set ..... Gorgeous Grunge (one of my favourites)
A little bit of matting and layering with some co-ordinating colours of card, and of course a little something on the inside finishes everything off nicely
Still need more inspiration? ..... then check out what the rest of the DT have done using the Multi coloured stamping technique, over on the Craft Stamper Blog.
Have fun and get your entries in ..... you could be our next winner, and have your work published in the Craft Stamper Magazine!
Thanks for popping by ....... enjoy the rest of Friday and have a great weekend. Lets hope this weather brightens up a little ..... fingers crossed!
Cheerio until next time
Linda
