DAY 3 ....... Twelve Tags of Christmas with Loll & Friends

Happy Wednesday .......

I knew it was going to be one of those days today when I woke up and thought it was Thursday.  Just imagine my disappointment when I realised that in fact ..... it was only Wednesday (sigh!!)
Then to hear the election results from across the pond ....... well, I'm not even going to go there! Was it the best result ..... time will tell I suppose.

I am going to play along with Day 3 of the Twelve Tags of Christmas with Loll and Friends though.

There's two more stunning designs from Loll and her Guest Designer today ....... hopefully they'll inspire you to play along.

Here's my tag for Day 3 ...... sorry about the photo quality, no natural light!
Note to self ....... make tags in time to photograph in the daylight!!

I've used the Stampin Up! Softly Falling embossing folder for the background with ordinary white cardstock .........

I added a touch of fine glitter to some of the raised dots, and stamped my sentiment across the bottom

I stamped the little robin onto a piece of white card, coloured him with Distress Inks, fussy cut around him and gave him a touch of sparkle ...... so festive!

I attached a die cut branch onto the tag, added a touch more snowy sparkle and perched my little robin on the top ......

Tag number three .... done!

I've been in the old craft room most of the day today, prepping for my workshop at the weekend.
The ladies are doing something a little different this week ...... still with a choice of Christmas or everyday design.  They're going to be making a wall hanging ........ having fun with acrylic paints. Here's a few sneaky peaks of what I've created to get them started ......

A nice Christmas design ......

There's that cute little Penny Black Snowman again .......

Pretty floral designs ...... in soft colours ...... or bold and bright

I wonder which will be the most popular.

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day.
It's Gin and Tonic time I think.

Cheerio until next time

Adorable tag Linda. That little robin is so sweet wearing the Santa hat. Love the added sparkle on his hat, snowy branches, and falling snow background. What would Christmas be without some sparkle??!! :) Thanks for sharing with my tag event.

Love the sneak peeks from your upcoming class. Love the stria look of the background and want to try that. Such a fantastic look. xx

Linda, once again I saw your tag on Loll's challenge and just HAD to comment! I love this bird! I have him and maybe time to bring him out again! What a fabulous job you did highlighting that branch! It's those little details that make a tag a great one instead of just a good one! Beautiful Tag!!
