DAY 4 ...... Feeling Festive with Loll and Friends

Happy Thursday ......

The weekend is almost here ..... and at least I got the day right this morning!!
Once all the usual household stuff was out of the way, and seeing as how the weather was still not very nice, it was back to the old craft room.

It's Day 4 of the 12 Tags for Christmas with Loll & Friends event ..... and whoo hoo!! ..... I'm keeping up!!

Here's my tag for today .... using up bits and pieces that were lying around my work desk .... you all know how I don't like to waste anything

A manila tag this time .... coloured using Distress Inks (Antique Linen/Vintage Photo and a touch of Aged Mahogany around the edges)
I then stamped some old script in the background using a Vintage Sepia Versamark ink pad ....  a really old one, so no need for second generation stamping ...... the ink is coming up quite pale anyway

I sprinkled on a little Frantage Chunky White Embossing Enamel over the top ..... love this stuff, especially on Christmas designs

And then I stamped and embossed my greeting on the bottom

The focal point of my tag is this gorgeous vellum poinsettia (left over from my last workshop)

The image has been stamped and embossed in gold onto plain vellum, and then I've added colour to the back using Distress Inks .... direct from the ink pad to the vellum ... so pretty!

I finished off with a few dots of glitter glue to the centre, and a festive red bow on the top of the tag.

Pictures are still not up to scratch ..... sorry!  Today has been so grey ...... and sooooo cold.  Still not had any snow yet .......  I'm keeping my eye on the webcams on the mountain though.

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy your evening.
Time to do battle with the supermarket website .... I have a delivery booked for tomorrow morning!

Cheerio until next time

Beautiful tag Linda. Love the vintage colour with a bit of aged mahogany which adds a modern twist. The script and frantage background adds layers of visual depth and texture. Love the vellum poinsettia ... so beautiful embossed in gold. Thanks for sharing with my tag event! xx
