Happy Wednesday ......
Welcome to May!
Always a busy month ....... we've got the Isle of Man TT Races in a little over three weeks (it doesn't seem 5 minutes since the last one!) Preparations are already underway across the island.
It's the Happy Stampers Spring Festival at Port Sunlight a week on Saturday (my ticket has arrived, the ferry is booked and my shopping list is ready ..... almost!) It's a long day but it's always a lot of fun.
The weekend after that Hubby and I have booked a few days away. We're taking the car across and heading up to Scotland I think.
Before all that though ........ there's a brand new release coming up from the fabulous Uniko!!!!!
Bev has been busy working her magic to create some fabulous new stamp designs, a new stencil and two new die sets, that work along side previously released stamp sets. Get ready ...... this is going to be a good one!
Did you see the sneak peeks yesterday? Are you looking forward to seeing all the new products being used? Well, wait no longer ..... welcome to Day One of the New Release Introductions.
Today there's three of the new stamps .....
Modern Florals ..... a fabulous set of 20 individual clear stamps, to make your own funky flowers, create backgronds, and more.
I've used just one of the stamps from the set on this design ...... really quick and easy to do, looks a little bit Orla Kiely don't you think.
I've used Distress Oxide inks to stamp the image ......
Added a simple sentiment on the top ..... from Uniko's Simply Said Blocks II
and finished off with a few sparkly sequins.
Just think of all the colour combinations you could use.
There's also two new additions to the popular Background Blocks series ....... Mid Century Modern and MCM II .......
This one is Mid Century Modern .... and I've stamped it twice onto a 7x5 cardblank, just in black ink.
It's a fab little design and so easy to repeat stamp
I stamped it two or three times again, this time using Distress Oxide inks (same colours as I used in the previous card)
I then used different sized circle dies to cut out different sections of the design
These were then layered on top of the black image, so that they matched the design underneath, and I used foam pads on some, to add a little dimension
I used gold acrylic paint to highlight the tiny dots, and finished off with a sentiment stamped on the bottom.
As always the Design Team have been busy creating with the new products. Pop over to the Uniko Blog for links to more fabulous inspiration using these new stamps. You'll also find details on there of our lovely Guest Designer for this release ...... Jenny from Crafting in the Country is joining in fun too.
Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day.
I'll be back tomorrow with more from the new release from Uniko.
Cheerio until then .........
