Day 3 ...... Introducing Uniko's Background Blocks Nautical Stripes, Fleur De Lis & Anchors stencils and re -introducing Nautical Treasures

Happy Wednesday .......

This week is flying by!
I hope you're enjoying seeing the brand new Uniko release coming very .... there's not long to wait now until you can get your hands on your favourites.

There's a bit of a nautical theme going on today.  There's another new stamp design, this time from the Background Blocks range ....... Nautical Stripes

Two new stencils ....... Fleur De Lis,

and Anchors.  Both great designs to use to create backgrounds, but also perfect for adding little accents to your projects

And last but not least today ....... the re-release of Nautical Treasures

Here's a quick look at them in action .......

First up the stencils ...... the pretty Fleur De Lis.
Black and gold again, always a winner

I've used Versafine ink through the stencil onto black cardstock, and heat embossed in gold .... so simple

One of those fab new outlined sentiments on the bottom,

and a few gemstones on the side for added sparkle.

The Anchor design makes a great background ...... it's so easy to match up too so you can cover a larger piece of card

I've added a few spatters of black ink over the top ......

I stamped the boat and the compass from the Nautical Treasures stamp set.
I masked around the large sail, and used the Nautical Stripes stamp to add some detail

I fussy cut the boat and attached it to the card front using foam pads.  I punched a circle around the compass and added a sentiment

Another simple design, using the boat again, this time with the Sentiments Outlined set ....... this whole release works so well together!

I stamped my sentiment and coloured it using ZIG markers.

I then used a piece of acetate to smoosh some of the blue colour onto the background above the sentiment, and added the compass for a little more detail

The boat was stamped, coloured using ZIG markers and fussy cut and then attached onto the card using a wobbler so that it moves.

The detail on the large sail was done using the Anchors stencil and outlined with a Stardust Gel Pen.

You can find more great ideas on using this new release from the rest of the DT and our Guest Designer over on the Uniko Studio Blog.

I'll be back again tomorrow with the last of the introductions ....... there's still one more stamp set to look at and three fun new stencil designs.  If you like your animal prints, youre goning to love these!!

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of your day.
It's beginning to look a lot like, dare I say it ....... Christmas, in the craft room!!!  I'm doing my best to get into the festive feel of things ..... Ho! Ho Ho!

Cheerio until next time .....

WOWers! The cards are amazing Linda!
The Fleur-de-Lis stencil is downright crying for precious colours and heat embossing with metal powders! :-)
Both maritime cards have fabulous colour combinations! The splatters transport a great impression of surf! - So freh and breezy!
And the action wobbler is the best idea I saw today! <3 <3 <3
