The Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge .......

Happy weekend ......

I hope you're having a good one.
It's time to get this month's Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge underway.

The theme for March is ..... Special Day.
Now that could be anything I suppose ...... a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding day.  A new arrival maybe.  Hmmm ...... what would your special day be?

My inspiration piece is very feminine, and I think it could be used for most of the occasions I've mentioned above, depending on the greeting you put inside.  This has ended up as a birthday card, I need a few of those this month!

I simply stamped the pretty floral spray, which is from Simon Says Stamp, and heat embossed it in gold .....

I then used watercolour paints to add the colour.

A pretty Penny Black sentiment on the front, and a few tiny dots of glitter glue for extra sparkle.

And I continued the design on the inside too .....

Now it's over to you.
Here's a little reminder of what we (Happy Little Stampers) class as Clean and Simple

Happy Stamping! See you in the gallery perhaps.

Thanks for popping by ..... enjoy the rest of the weekend.
We've had a lovely day today.  Started off with a spot of food shopping in one of my favourite little places down in Castletown .... the Italian Kitchen
I needed to restock my Italian coffee, and the best pasta, and parmesan cheese ever!!! Plus there's delicious gelato too, some of which has found it's way into our freezer, funny that!
And there's no need to bother with a birthday cake on Tuesday now,  because I have these .......

Real Italian pastries ....... yummee!
The little man has already made a start on these ..... the chocolate cannolis are his favourite.
I also got treated to lunch out at a lovely new tea room/cafe that opened this week ..... let the birthday celebrations begin!

Cheerio until next time .....

Your card is beautiful. I like the flexibility of the design with the white space for a special message. Lucky you to have access to such authentic food - no wonder your designs are inspiring! :)

Your blog for a beautiful new look, great graphics and colors. I also love your card. Perfect CAS and such an elegant look with gold and pink. And moving the image to the center of the card is simply brilliant!
